More Loss, Huge Gains!

Yesterday was another surprising day for me after I got off the scale. Another 6lbs 8oz packed it’s bags and said “SEE YA!” I’m sure I made it very inhospitable for it to remain kinda like a typical room at Motel 6 minus the used needles and bed bugs.

Ok, I wouldn’t say that I was totally surprised because I’ve been busting my now disappearing rump more and more each week yet sticking to my meal plan daily. And that’s the thing, like our dietitian said, PLAN PLAN PLAN! She is wholeheartedly right because it works and it keeps me honest! What is my meal plan you ask? Well in a nutshell it roughly breaks down like this…

Breakfast – 2oz Protein / 1 cup Bread~Grain / 8oz Dairy / 1 cup Veggies (1/2 cup cooked)

Snack – 1 cup Veggies (1/2 cup cooked) / 6 Almonds (Fats)

Lunch – 2oz Protein / 1 cup Veggies (1/2 cup cooked) / 8oz Dairy / 1 Fruit

Snack – 1 cup Veggies (1/2 cup cooked) / 6 Almonds (Fats)

Dinner – 2oz Protein / 1 cup Veggies (1/2 cup cooked) / 1 Fruit

Snack – 2oz Protein

I’m in awe how well my body is responding to REAL FOOD. I was apprehensive when I first began the transition from the products they had us eat. The doom and gloom elf that lives in my head thought for sure I wouldn’t lose anymore weight or would gain. Now I’m listening more to that other elf who is helping me see the 43lbs I have left to my goal of 200lbs!

This is a lifetime journey I have ahead of me and I look forward to what’s on the horizon.
